Manager of Government and Community Relations
Trey Ragsdale serves as the Manager of Government and Community Relations for Kaiser Permanente of Georgia. As an angel investor of Partnership Gwinnett, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia is a vital part of the initiative’s efforts and the success of the Gwinnett community.
“Kaiser Permanente of Georgia is a nonprofit healthcare organization committed to improving the health of the communities we serve,” said Ragsdale. “We accomplish this mission by establishing ties with community organizations, and therefore strongly support Partnership Gwinnett’s efforts to improve the quality of life in Gwinnett County.”
Kaiser Permanente of Georgia is proud to offer unique services to Gwinnett County and the entire metro Atlanta area by providing health coverage and comprehensive care through a coordinated healthcare delivery system. Instead of contracting with unconnected doctors in a network, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia’s model coordinates patient care among all caregivers—doctors, nurses, pharmacists and nutritionists—in an effort to supply more effective and efficient care. Its caregivers are also linked through a state-of-the-art electronic medical record system, which offers a comprehensive look into members’ medical history, helping to prevent medical errors.
In addition, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia continues to increase members’ ease of access to care. Currently boasting 29 locations in Georgia, including three in Gwinnett County alone, Kaiser Permanente of Georgia recently completed a 78,000-square-foot expansion to its Duluth location. Now known as the Kaiser Permanente Gwinnett Comprehensive Care Center, it created more space for specialty and advanced care services and provides members with a one-stop-shop for healthcare. The expansion also allows members to enjoy the convenience of seeing their primary care physician or specialist, filling prescriptions, and getting lab work done all at one location.
