The annual Amazing Entrepreneur Business Plan Competition is an initiative of Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development, in partnership with The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Jackson Electric Membership Corporation, to foster new business development in Gwinnett County.
Designed to cultivate new business development in Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta, the contest recently announced its 2013 winner: Palmetto Grant Consulting! A provider of grant consulting services, Palmetto Grant Consulting received the grand prize of more than $8,000 in cash and prizes to support their growth and development. Finalists included Adrian Collaborative and Flairtab.
New to the 2013 contest was the Pre-Ventrue category, offering businesses not yet in operation the opportunity to win prizes. Announced as the inaugural winner, ReadySpot is an internet-business which allows users to reserve parking spots for events and places of business prior to arriving at their destination.
