(GWINNETT- METRO ATLANTA) September 20, 2016 – Hendrick Automotive Group, the largest privately held automotive retail organization in the United States, joined Gwinnett Chamber Economic Development today to announce the location of its north Georgia consolidated regional headquarters to the Gwinnett Place Community Improvement District (CID) in Gwinnett County, metro Atlanta, Georgia.
The new north Georgia consolidated regional headquarters, located at 3175 Satellite Blvd., will provide Hendrick Automotive Group’s 29 total franchises in Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Alabama with accounting support. Scheduled to open this August, the 12,000-square-foot facility is just the latest addition to Hendrick Automotive Group’s expansive presence in Gwinnett County.

Since 2015, Hendrick Automotive Group has invested nearly $22 million in expansion and relocation projects within Gwinnett County. The Group operates 13 franchises in Georgia, 11 located in Gwinnett.

In addition to the north Georgia regional headquarters the company has recently opened a number of additional facilities in Gwinnett, including Rick Hendrick Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, Mall of Georgia MINI, and a relocation and expansion of Rick Hendrick Buick GMC. The company also added a new pre-owned facility and purchased a $3.1 million property for Truck Center inventory expansion.

Hendrick Automotive Group’s recent Gwinnett County expansions will create nearly 200 jobs over the next three years. The company currently employs 1,065 employees in Georgia, with nearly 1,000 of those jobs in Gwinnett.
