RockTenn’s Steve Voorhees to Keynote March 19th Awards Ceremony
(GWINNETT- METRO ATLANTA) November 14, 2014 —Partnership Gwinnett, in collaboration with Gwinnett Technical College, launched the fourth annual Movers & Makers Awards on Wednesday night. Nominations are now being accepted in six categories: Three “Makers” Awards honoring Manufacturers of the Year – Small, Medium, and Large; two “Movers” Awards honoring Supply Chain companies – Supply Chain Pioneer and Corporate Citizenship Award; and one Most Valuable Provider (MVP), honoring an excellent service provider.
The event, attended by previous winners and judges, industry professionals, and community leaders, also served as a platform to announce RockTenn’s CEO, Steve Voorhees, as the Keynote Speaker for the March 19, 2015 awards ceremony.
To be eligible to win an award, nominees must have been in business at a physical address in Gwinnett County for at least three years. The 2014 winners were YSS Athletics, MTI Baths, Millennium Mats, LLC, Heatcraft Worldwide Refrigeration and RockTenn.

Winners will receive extensive publicity and recognition as a benchmark company within the industry. In addition, all manufacturing nominees who qualify for the Governor’s Manufacturers Appreciation Week Awards will also be nominated for the Movers and Makers Awards.
