Partnership Gwinnett Strategy & Executive Council

In 2006, the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce contracted with Market Street Services to develop a comprehensive Community and Economic Development Plan for Gwinnett County. Market Street’s recommendations formed the foundation of Partnership Gwinnett’s first five-year strategy. Partnership Gwinnett again engaged Market Street in 2011 and in 2016 to facilitate multi-phase processes designed to produce revamped economic development plans in light of the County’s successes, challenges, and implementation experiences.

The current Partnership Gwinnett 4.0 Strategy, which began in January of 2022 and will run through 2026, will enable the organization and its public and private community partners to continue to build the kind of momentum that will be required to take the community to the next level.

The overall structure of the Partnership Gwinnett 4.0 Strategy is formed by the following goals:

  • Business Development
  • Talent Development
  • Community Development

This constitutes a “next level” plan with new ideas and detailed recommendations, many of which would have been unattainable without the precedent of Partnership Gwinnett 1.0, 2.0, 3.0. It supports a holistic vision for the prosperity of all Gwinnettians through the provision of good jobs, adequate housing, social opportunities and a community that makes its residents proud. Every Gwinnettian has a stake in this plan; it will take the combined effort and ingenuity of a diverse partnership to realize this vision.
