PAGE 2 ANNUAL REPORT 2019 MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN Valued investors and partners of Partnership Gwinnett: As we wrap up the economic development efforts of 2019, I want to express my gratitude to you for your continued commitment and remarkable support of Partnership Gwinnett. Your ongoing investment and invaluable guidance has helped us not only build, but also maintain Gwinnett County as the premier destination to live, work and play. We couldn’t be more excited for the path we have collectively built for our community to continue to be known for its economic strength and vitality. 2020 represents Partnership Gwinnett’s thirteenth year leading the way in economic development, not only in Gwinnett, but also across the region. With new leadership in place and a clear path forward, we are excited about the bright future for Partnership Gwinnett and the Gwinnett business community. Every year at this time, we take a look back at what we have accomplished over the last twelve months and this year proved to be outstanding. We had 20 project wins that translated into more than 3,125 jobs across our five target industries. We also were presented with the opportunity to visit more than 132 existing companies in our community, as well as dedicate time to international travel in order to further growth in jobs and wealth-creation opportunities. One example of the success of our progressive strategy and commitment to providing relevant and educational programming was Partnership Gwinnett’s receipt of an Award of Excellence for the annual Partnership Gwinnett Redevelopment Peer Tour from the International Economic Development Council. As we prepare for the start of another outstanding year, I want to extend to you my sincere appreciation for supporting our endeavors in enhancing quality of life for Gwinnett.
