Position Title: Programs & Marketing Coordinator, Partnership Gwinnett
Reports to: Director, Programs & Communications, Partnership Gwinnett
Employment Status: Full-Time
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Travel Required: Minimal
Salary: Based on qualifications

Job Description:
This position will assist with promoting the strategy and goals of Partnership Gwinnett through the design and execution of targeted marketing, public relations and program initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with the development and maintenance of web content across all Partnership Gwinnett sites
• Develop copy for various external communications, including: press releases, advertisements, scripts, newsletters, etc.
• Work with Partnership Gwinnett team to ensure all public documents, presentations & advertisements have a unified & consistent message
• Manage and drive social media presence for all Partnership Gwinnett & Gwinnett accounts per the social media strategy
• Develop strong working knowledge of Gwinnett and metro Atlanta business environment
• Provide support for special projects and initiatives on an as-identified basis
• Partner with Director of Programs & Communications, as well as Project Managers to design and execute programs and events related to target industries, community and leadership development
• Report program trends, issues and successes to Director of Programs & Communications and the Partnership Gwinnett team
• Prepare and maintain financial records, including revenue and fees generated by events, event operational costs, P&L statements and analysis
• Manage the organizations’ contact database and report on trends, issues or improvements
• Establish strong working relationships with public, private and nonprofit partners, community leaders, event venues and vendors
• Assist with the coordination of committee meetings, taskforces and council meetings
• Maintain department event calendar
• Other assignments as designated and required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent written, grammatical and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Degree in communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, or related field
• Ability to adapt to constantly changing demands and a fast paced work environment
• Ideal candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated, outgoing, flexible, a team player and professional
