(GWINNETT-METRO ATLANTA) April 6, 2017 – National Compressor Exchange (NCE), the largest independently-owned and ISO Certified compressor remanufacturer in the world, joined Partnership Gwinnett and the Metro Atlanta Chamber to announce the grand opening of their new Southeastern headquarters in Gwinnett County, metro Atlanta, Georgia.
“We are thrilled to be opening our new facility in Gwinnett County,” said German Florez, Vice President of Marketing & Sales SE for National Compressor Exchange. “We strive to bring our customers the finest HVACR products available and we have found that Gwinnett has the resources, location and talent to make it possible. As our slogan states, always remanufactured, never rebuilt.”
Located in the Gwinnett Village Community Improvement District (CID), in the City of Norcross, NCE’s new facility will serve as the company’s Southeastern and international division headquarters. This location will house NCE’s warehouse and sales operations, as well as provide a product showroom for clientele.
“National Compressor Exchange’s decision to invest in Gwinnett is a testament to our community’s prime location and unmatched growth, and we wish them continued success here,” said Board of Commissioners Chairman, Charlotte Nash.
A driving force in NCE’s strategic decision to locate operations in Gwinnett County was finding a central location that allowed the company to cut down on delivery times to their customers. The organization also wanted to continue providing unmatched logistics and product supply, as well as have accessibility to easily export their products to global markets.
“We’re excited that National Compressor Exchange has chosen the City of Norcross as the site for their new facility,” said City of Norcross Mayor, Bucky Johnson. “They are a welcomed addition to the growing list of global companies that call our city home.”
NCE’s new location will bring four new jobs and an initial capital investment of almost $500,000 to Gwinnett County. The company is currently making plans for future growth of 10 times the current headcount.
“With proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, as well as the Port of Savannah, National Compressor Exchange has found a great place in the metro Atlanta region to locate their operations,” said Rebecca Jordan, Associate Project Manager for the Metro Atlanta Chamber.
NCE recently announced a partnership with FRASCOLD, the world’s third largest Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) compressor manufacturer, along with its USA Division, Frascold-USA. NCE has been appointed as the only approved FRASCOLD remanufacturing plant in the US and Canada.
“The Gwinnett Village CID celebrates NCE’s expansion announcement,” said Marsha Anderson Bomar, Executive Director for the Gwinnett Village CID. “We are excited to have a global leader choose to invest in our district, bringing additional jobs into our vibrant community, and we look forward to supporting them in the future.”
“National Compressor Exchange’s continued drive and commitment to producing and delivering high quality products and services, along with their strong global presence, make them an asset to our community,” said Deven Cason, Project Manager, Partnership Gwinnett. “We welcome them and look forward to further assisting them as they grow and expand in our County.”
