(GWINNETT-METRO ATLANTA) June 25, 2018 – Partnership Gwinnett, Georgia’s largest local economic development organization announced today that its Senior Director of Economic Development, Andrew Carnes has been accepted into the 34th class of Leadership Gwinnett. Carnes will join a cohort of business, civic and community leaders for an engaging nine-month program that seeks to strengthen professional and personal leadership capacity.
“I’m honored to be selected for the Leadership Gwinnett class of 2019,” said Andrew Carnes. “I’m eager to grow and engage with Gwinnett’s outstanding network of leaders.”
The award-winning program will guide 40 of Gwinnett’s established and emerging leaders through in-depth experiences in infrastructure, economics, education, health and human services, justice and regional relations.
As the Senior Director of Economic Development for Partnership Gwinnett, Carnes facilitates the creation of new jobs and investment in Gwinnett. He is also responsible for managing a business development team of two target sector project managers and one project associate.
