MISSION STATEMENT: We drive economic prosperity in Gwinnett County. STRATEGIC GOALS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT GOAL Gwinnett County is a top location for domestic and international businesses, local small businesses, and entrepreneurial startups. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES 1 2 TALENT DEVELOPMENT GOAL Individuals can access educational resources that match their learning needs and offer rewarding career pathways with Gwinnett County employers. TALENT DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES Enhance and expandmarketing materials and activities. Regularly meet with local businesses to support retention and expansion. Convene an entrepreneur council. Support the development of Rowen and other technology centers. Strategically utilize incentives to support community economic development goals. Establish a talent council. Continue working with K-20 educational institutions. Strengthen information, training, and other workforce-related resources. Establish a talent retention, return, and attraction campaign. 3 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT GOAL Gwinnett County is safe and well-connected, and it offers diverse amenities for people and businesses to live, work, and play. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES Assist GwinnettCounty, local cities, and Community Improvement Districts (CIDs) with redevelopment. Establish an attraction campaign focused on bringing in outside developers and investors.
