Duluth, Ga., April 20, 2022 –– Trenton Systems, an American-made computer hardware manufacturer, celebrated their headquarters expansion with a grand opening at their new office, located at 3100 Breckinridge Boulevard in Duluth, on April 19. Partnership Gwinnett, the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Georgia Power worked with Trenton Systems to lease the 50,000-square-foot former IBM building.

“We’re pleased to help this growing and vital defense company expand in Gwinnett County, supporting both local and national interests,” said Partnership Gwinnett Vice President Andrew Carnes.

Trenton Systems designs, manufactures, assembles, tests and supports secure computing solutions, ensuring tamper-free hardware and cybersecure firmware and software within a vetted supply chain. Their clients include national military and defense organizations and information industry partners, such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, SAIC, Disney, Google, IBM and NASA.

“It’s exciting to see a Georgia-based business leading research and innovation efforts that will help safeguard information for some of the United States’ largest companies and organizations across multiple strategic industries,” said Georgia Department of Economic Development Commissioner Pat Wilson.

Trenton Systems will use the modern facility for their new headquarters and business support and expand their manufacturing infrastructure at their current facility, located at 1725 MacLeod Drive in Lawrenceville, to better support customer needs.

“Trenton Systems proudly manufactures their own circuit boards right here in Gwinnett County,” said Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson. “Their impressive growth not only supports our economy and workforce, but also provides numerous benefits to our country as well.”

Trenton Systems Chief Executive Officer Michael Bowling said the expansion will lead to more than 50 new positions, allowing them to broaden their product and service offerings and continue innovating computing solutions that drive some of the world’s most complex applications across all environments.

“Trenton Systems is excited to be growing its footprint in Gwinnett County,” Bowling said. Our people truly do make all the difference and the additional space will enable us to keep adding to the talent pool across all departments.”
